There has been a long standing issue with verification emails and password reset emails which it has taken me some time to track down but I believe that I have now resolved the issues.
I have disabled email verification. I get a lot of unverifiable requests and requests from unusual email addresses and it has now been some years since I changed the system to one that requires manual verification, unfortunately hadn’t disabled the email verification system so the site was trying to do half a job. This should now be resolved.
If you are still unable to change your password then please do let me know, especially if you try to change your password and the email you receive doesn’t contain an appropriate link.
